Foundation of the Company
Future Product Design a.s. was founded in 1990 as the European sister company of Future Product Design in New York.
The aim of the company’s foundation was to create a business and technology centre for the European region that would enable the development of technology projects and business activities between Europe and other regions of the world.
In its early years, the company focused mainly on trading office equipment and telecommunications devices such as telephone exchanges, copiers, fax machines and other technical equipment.
Over time, however, the company’s activities became increasingly focused on telecommunications technologies and technology projects.
Development of Telecommunications Activities
An important period for the development of the company was the second half of the 1990s, when it began to actively participate in building telecommunications infrastructure.
Between 1996 and 2000, the company participated in the construction of more than 200 GSM base stations. These projects represented an important step in the company’s development and brought valuable experience in the field of mobile networks.
Thanks to these projects, the company gained practical experience in installing technology equipment, project management and cooperation with technology partners.
Expansion of Technology Projects
In the following years, the company also began to focus on developing its own technological products and innovative solutions.
These projects focused, for example, on:
- pedestrian safety at crossings
- technology solutions for transport infrastructure
- products and technologies in healthcare
The result of these activities is a range of technology solutions protected by patents, representing a further direction of the company’s technological development.
Current Focus
At present, FPD combines experience from technology projects, telecommunications technologies and international trade.
Thanks to this experience, the company can implement projects both in technology deliveries and in business cooperation and export activities.
The company’s long-term development is based on innovation, technology know-how and international cooperation.
More than thirty years of experience in technology projects and telecommunications networks enables FPD to deliver projects at an international level.
